University of Alaska Southeast

The University of Alaska Southeast is an exciting place to attend college. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to your success. Our location in Alaska’s capital gives us access to internships with governmental agencies from the Legislature to the Department of Fish and Game or Health and Human Services. University of Alaska Anchorage

In December 2007 the Rasmuson Foundation contributed a $2 million challenge grant to fund the creation of the endowed chair position. On Saturday, October 25, UAA reached the challenge grant goal, with pledged gifts in excess of $4 million. This new Chair will ensure stable funding for a full-time, year-round faculty member dedicated to students enrolled in ANSEP.

Prince William Sound Community College

Prince William Sound Community College offers accessible and affordable education to students of all ages, races, cultures, economic levels, and previous educational experience. As a public, comprehensive community college, this multi-campus institution offers lower-division college transfer, occupational, technical, basic skills, wellness, cultural, and community education programs. Partnerships with business, industry, educational institutions, and public sector agencies provide training opportunities for the local work forces and promote economic development.

Ilisagvik College

Located in the northernmost point of Alaska, Ilisagvik College is a two-year tribal college offering quality post-secondary academic, vocational and technical education aimed at matching workforce needs. We are dedicated to perpetuating and strengthening Inupiat (Eskimo) culture, language, values and traditions.

Charter College

Charter College is a private, independent institution of higher education that follows a dramatically new direction. Charter is neither a liberal arts college, a university, nor a vocational school.

Career Academy

Career Academy has long recognized the need for a full service educational institution capable of meeting the requirements of growing career industries. AVTEC strives to provide a convenient and comfortable living and learning environment for students. Members of AVTEC staff are available to help students make a smooth transition to a school setting and to assist them in reaching their career goals.
