Washington County Community College is one of seven community colleges that operate under the authority of the Maine Community College System. WCCC is a non-profit, residential, post-secondary institution supported, in part, by appropriation from the Maine State Legislature. Welcome to the University of Maine at Machias. We’ve got something really special going on here. Our campus is on the coast halfway between Bar Harbor and Canada, in a wonderful little town of 3,000 people. From my office window, I can look down the hill at the Machias River and a double waterfall. Very cool.I’ve been the president here for about three years, and I love this job.
