Our aim is to provide each individual student with the proper training needed for them to realize their full potential as a professional cosmetologist including all phases of Cosmetology work.It is hoped that this website will answer questions about Vernon's Kansas School of Cosmetology and the exciting opportunities of a cosmetology career. Vernon's School of Cosmetology, started in 1938, is one of the oldest continuing schools in the state of Kansas and is licensed in the state by the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology. It is nationally accredited by the National Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (which is recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education as the national accrediting agency for cosmetology schools.)

Vernon's Kansas School of Cosmetology has also been approved for training of veterans and war orphans, by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the training of Foreign students (who can apply for a visa to study at United State Visas, and is eligible for State and Federal vocational educational programs.
