Fresh Admissions - PDGM , BJ


The following two universities have invited fresh applications for PDGM and BJ courses. XIME institute is conducting admissions for PDGM course. Nagpur university conducting entrance test for BJ courses. The details about both courses are mentioned below.

PDGM Course at XIME Institute:

Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME) in Bangalore , Karnataka, has announced two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme. The admissions are done on the basis of ATMA/CAT/MAT/XAT with atleast 77% percentile marks.A group discussion and personal interview is scheduled on sep 4,5, 2010.

The application forms for PGDM can be downloaded from their official website http://www.xime.org/. The filled application form with 1000 RS DD drawn in the name of XIME Bangalore should be mailed to the admission co-ordinator. This can also be done via email - admissions@xime.org.Last date of submission of applications forms are aug 31st 2010

BJ Course at Nagpur University:

Nagpur University has decided to conduct second entrance test for Bachelor of Journalism course (BJ) on aug 27th, 2010. This is an one-year course, which prepares students for careers in journalism, advertising and public relations.Graduates from all streams are eligible to apply for this course. Sale and submssion od applcation forms will continue until thursday at the department from 12-3.00pm.

The university also offers a one-year PG diploma in video programming. It prepares students to become presenters, reporters, anchors, editors, camerapersons, and video technicians on the small screen. Graduates with second calss from any stream are eligible to apply. 25 seats would be done on first-come basis.

Registration For Engineering Courses Extented:

Joint admission committee for professional courses (JACPC) extended the last date for
registration into engineering courses to Wednesday. Two rounds of reshuffling lead to a total of 1,517 students in engineering and 838 students in pharmacy are yet to register themselves.These students have already been allotted seats, but haven't registered yet.If more than 10% seats remain vacant after the final round of admission,the admission process is delegated to the espective colleges to fill up the remaining vacant seats.JACPC had personally taken care of sending SMSes to students about last date of registration being aug 25th.
